Senior Enterprise Application Support Engineer-REF 7002

Our client is one of the world’s leading software companies. We are currently looking to hire engineers to support their Data Warehousing and Analytics platform. They are expected to be relentlessly customer-centric, able to resolve issues reported by customers and have the ability to learn the software platform. Our client has an international customer base requiring our services to be delivered with the highest standards.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
  • MCSA or higher qualifications in Windows Server Certification path
  • 4+ years of Industry experience with at least 1+ recent year/s in similar capacity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with customer handling experience
  • Hands on experience with Azure DW / MSSQL server database administration and troubleshooting will be an added advantage (Experience in SSDT, SSMS and ETL tools (SSIS)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with customer handling experience

Experience in a combination of the following:
- Windows Server 2012, Hyper-V, Failover Clustering, Storage spaces, Active Directory, DNS
- Networking: L2 switching, both Ethernet and InfiniBand network troubleshooting
- RAID, BMC, storage troubleshooting (SAN, JBOD)

  • Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)

 

Responsibilities

  • Initial troubleshooting and incident lifecycle management for all incidents and customer engagements
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware issues and replacements
  • Responsibilities in meeting SLAs and customer satisfaction
  • Performing root cause analysis for customer reported issues
  • Have to work on a 24*5 shift roster
